About Us

We are a friendly Primary Health Care Team who work collaboratively to ensure that our patients are seen by the correct Health Care Professional in ever aspect of their care.

We value the continuity of care, so all of our patients have an allocated named GP.  Our extensive Multi-Disciplinary Team work together to provide Preventative, Proactive & Personalised Care for all of our patients.

General Practice today looks very different to what it was in the past.  At Castle Place Practice we have been proactive in considering the right care for our patients now and in the future.  We currently have thirteen regular doctors, as well as trainees, working within our Practice.  In order to provide additional medical time for our patients we will ensure that our patients see our GPS for the more complex problems.  We have an excellent team of Practice Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, a Paramedic, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners, Social Prescribers and Care Coordinators.  Each department of Health Care Professionals provides specialist care alongside support from our regular GP Team.  These Practitioners are highly skilled and enhance the care that our doctors provide.

As part of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, we provide comprehensive NHS Primary Care Services to help you manage your Health and Well-being. This section contains information about our Practice.
